Daiji Dubai and Rang Mandir to present ‘Mick-Max Nite’ on Christmas Day

Mangaluru, December 22: In memory of one of the most admired versatile artists of the Konkani language, Mickmax, a musical concert named “Mick-Max Nite” will be broadcast on Daijiworld TV 24/7 on Christmas Day, starting at 7 p.m.

Daiji Dubai, the famous Konkani Writers Forum of Dubai and Daiji Rang Mandir, a forum of dramatic artists residing in the United Arab Emirates, are the patrons of recorded musical extravagance. The concert mainly focuses on an attempt to present Mickmax’s all-time hit songs to the younger generation and remember his selfless contribution to the realm of Konkani music, art and literature.

Michael Maxim D’Souza (commonly known as MickMax) was a legendary, multi-faceted figure who contributed immensely to many fields such as literature, poetry, theater, music, drama and was also a master friend. MickMax has produced three music albums that hold a special place in Konkani music with their unique style of lyrics and composition.

Along with Anil D’Sa Pangla, who has returned his voice in Mickmax’s albums, trendy singers Velita Lobo Kulshekar, Jason Lobo Bondel, Gavin Minezes, Sonal Monteiro Kulshekar and Jancy Fernandes Bajpe will make their voices melodious for some of the selected hits. by Mickmax.

Sanjay Rodrigues, the well-known musician of the Konkani world, will lead the musical team. Roshan Crasta Bela, Sanjeeth Rodrigues and Floyd Pereira Valencia are part of the musical team on lead guitar, drums and bass guitar respectively. Young Josmitha D’Silva will host the event.

The filming, mixing and mastering of the concert will be handled by the Daijiworld TV unit.
