Dierks Bentley, Parker McCollum and more show support for cafe that employs people with disabilities – Everett Post
Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum are among the many country performers showing their support for a new Nashville café, Bitty & Beau’s, which employs people with disabilities.
The cafe was started by the husband and wife team Ben and Amy wright, including the two youngest children, Bitty and Beautiful, have Down syndrome. The first site opened in 2016 in North Carolina and has since expanded to several states, hiring workers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As the franchise prepares to open a new location in Music City, Dierks, Parker, Travis Denning and Lauren Alaina sent a video to staff offering words of encouragement.
“It’s more than a cup of coffee. Show the world what is possible. I’m so excited, ”Dierks shares.
“It’s an amazing new place, and the coffee is awesome,” adds Travis.
“I love your cause, I love your coffee and can’t wait to have a cup of it,” Lauren enthuses. Josh Turner and Gary Allan. also offered encouragement.
“We can’t wait to open our doors to Music City and continue to show the world that people with disabilities aren’t broken,” Amy says in the video.
