Immersive Queen store to open on Carnaby Street to celebrate five decades of music

To celebrate five decades of music, one of the world’s most iconic bands, Queen, will feature in a dedicated experiential pop-up boutique on Carnaby Street that opens later this month.

The Shop, “Queen The Greatest” will open from Tuesday September 28, 2021 through January 2022 with a selection of limited edition music releases, exciting fashion collaborations and lifestyle products with new products and weekly events. Each month will have a theme; Music, Art & Design and Magic, with visual installations that tell each of Queen’s 5 decades of history.

‘Queen The Greatest’ store will take visitors on a 2 story journey, from the ’70s thrift store (Freddie and Roger had a stand in Kensington Market), iconic’ 80s shows and tours, a records from the 90s, a DVD tribute from the 2000s to the 2010s technological notions.

The new store, created in partnership with Bravado, the merchandise and brand management company of Universal Music Group, has all the characteristics of the group. The store features an exciting clothing collection featuring exclusive collaborations from a multitude of fashion brands including Champion, Wrangler and Johnny Hoxton jewelry.

The Champion collection includes unisex t-shirts and sweatshirts, with a nod to the fashion brand’s heritage. Wrangler’s denim pieces, some adorned with iconic song titles, sit alongside solid gold and silver jewelry from British jewelry designer Jonny Hoxton, known for his ironic jewelry that fills the middle ground between traditional craftsmanship and culture. underground pop.

Proceeds from an exclusive Freddie Mercury t-shirt will go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust. The charity was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury and raises vital funds and raises awareness about HIV / AIDS.
