Musician and owner of the RI taxi company Frank Bedrossian Sr of W. Warwick dies at 69

Frank E. Bedrossian, Sr., 69, of West Warwick, died on Sunday December 5, 2021.

He was the ex-husband of Elaine M. (Vaillancourt) Bedrossian, with whom he took up residence. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Mary C. (Petrarca) Bedrossian.

Frank was the former president of the RI Taxi Owners Association and the former owner of RI Taxi Company. A talented musician, Frank was a member of his brother’s orchestra, the Mark Bedrossian Night Life Orchestra. Frank has played a multitude of instruments including bass, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, keyboard and harmonica. When he was in high school, Frank was voted one of the top ten musicians in the country and had the opportunity to tour Europe giving concerts in various places.

Besides his former wife, Frank leaves three sons, Frank E. Bedrossian, Jr., Keith J. Bedrossian, both of West Warwick, and Jason De Santo of Warwick; one brother, Mark A. Bedrossian and his wife, Wendy, of Warwick; three nieces, Laura, Sara and Ava Bedrossian, and one nephew, Alec Bedrossian. Brother of the late James M. Bedrossian.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Friday at noon at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre-Dame cemetery.
