Pink Roller Skates in a Grocery Store in ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ – Rolling Stone

Pink rollerblades through the veggie aisle and get everyone on their feet in new video

Pink is all smiles and laughs as she vows to always show off her best dance moves on her vibrant, disco-infused single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” and its video, which was released on Friday.

The video opens with a gum-puffing rose shopping at a grocery store while roller-skating through the aisles, dressed in a colorful outfit as she taunts a misbehaved little girl who threw a tantrum.

“I’m never gonna dance no more,” sings Pink in the catchy chorus produced by Max Martin and Shellback, as two other roller skaters join her as she cruises past the tortilla aisle, singing how she wishes her life to be “a Whitney Song of Houston.

After paying for groceries and a few gay pride flags, Pink pulls into the parking lot as annoying people watch her show off her best disco dance moves. The group outside drops everything they do (literally) and follows the singer into the store.

The grocery store then transforms into a disco ball dance floor as the characters in the video show off their best dance moves to the song’s catchy chorus.

The danceable track – which she is set to debut live at the American Music Awards – is her second this year following the release of “Irrelevant”. She dropped her live album Everything I Know So Far: Setlist last year, which featured tracks like “Cover Me In Sunshine” featuring daughter Willow and “All I Know So Far.”

The artist has been teasing the release of “Never Not Gonna Dance” for several days. Yesterday, she posted a video on Instagram where she pretended to be a grocery store worker saying, “Excuse me? Want to try a sample? It’s spicy as shit.

She also asked fans to call 1-888-262-PINK where fans could hear a snippet of her new song, receive a free sample of “Vicious Bitches Chips” or listen to a “tip of the day.” She made a fun infomercial about trying super spicy fries.

“Stop following other people’s advice,” she says in the audio.
