Solar Guitars launches the four-string bass AB2.4 Canibalismo without more metal


Solar Guitars – the brand run by Swedish guitarist and YouTube extraordinary Ola Englund – has unveiled the latest model in its line of bass guitars, the AB2.4 Canibalismo.

Probably the most metallic bass we’ve seen so far this year, the four-string AB2.4 Canibalismo joins the company’s AB series and features a sungkai body with a Blood Red Open Pore Matte finish. and Blood Splatter detailing, bolt-on a five-piece maple / jatoba neck with a thin C-profile and a 24 super jumbo-fret ebony fingerboard with a single red solar inlay at the 12th fret.

The bass is fitted with a pair of active Solar Tesla soapbar pickups, which are controlled via the volume, balance, bass and treble knobs.

Other features include a four-in-line inverted headstock with 17: 1 solar ratio machine heads, a high-mass fixed bridge for improved hold, matte black hardware, and a 34 “scale length.
